Boy Scouts of America Prepared for Life

Scouting’s Values

Scouting is a values-based program with its own code of conduct. The Scout Oath and Law help instill the values of good conduct, respect for others, and honesty. Scouts learn skills that will last a lifetime, including basic outdoor skills, first aid, citizenship skills, leadership skills, and how to get along with others. For almost a century, Scouting has instilled in young men the values and knowledge that they will need to become leaders in their communities and country.

About Us

Troop 303 is an active youth led; adult advised Scout troop sponsored by St. Catherine of Siena Church. We reside in the General Knox District of the Western Massachusetts Council.  We meet every Tuesday from 6:30-8pm except for the first Tuesday of each month which is our Patrol Leader Council

Congratulations to Troop 303’s newest Eagle Scout.

Merit Badges

Boy Scout merit badges give scouts the opportunity to investigate around 136 different areas of knowledge and skills. The merit badge program plays a major role in the scouting advancement program and participation can begin as soon as a scout registers with a troop. Each scout can explore topics from American Business to Woodworking as he has interest. The only limitations are his ambition and availability of adult merit badge counselors to offer instruction.
